That’s why I cycle to work, tis about 6.5km each way (which isn’t far really), but I know once I get my bike to work, I’ve got to get it back home later in the day.

The whole thing is a bit of a meh meh, this is NZ mate… WE DONT GIVE A SHIT OZZIE’S. Caught some of this on the morning show or whatever it is called on tv, seriously the whole thing reminds me of all the celb bs from the states. Aus, the wannabe US. (I am anti trash-celb news if you couldnt tell, waste of human effort, nothing worse imho, each to their own though)

^^ lol yeah nez, that is what i love about street running — decide what direction you are going and run till you get tired and the thing is you are only half way! no one is going to save you and you have to get your own ass back.

It gives the captain super powers man it’s aptly named! I think having it optional does very little. I have yet to see the fielding side NOT take their powerplay immediately after the 10th over and most teams take the Batting powerplay in the 45th over, very rarely do you see a captain smart enough to take it prior to that when two batsmen have built a large partnership and look ready to unleash (as is often argued as the best time to take it).
